The Butcher of Bareilly: How Kuldeep Kumar Gangwar Killed 9 Women in 14 Months

The women of Bareilly were disappearing. For over a year, fear gripped the villages. Between June 2023 and July 2024, nine women were found dead in sugarcane fields. Their bodies lay hidden among the tall stalks, their lives cruelly stolen by an unseen hand. The killer moved like a ghost, striking and vanishing without a trace. At first, the police thought these were isolated cases: a robbery gone wrong, a personal dispute, or an accident. But as the pattern emerged, a terrifying realization spread: a serial killer was on the loose. He had a signature strangulation, with the knots always tied to the left. He killed with precision, leaving behind no clues, no evidence. The people of Bareilly lived in fear, locking their doors before nightfall, whispering about the murderer who walked among them. Then, in July 2024, the police caught a man: Kuldeep Kumar Gangwar. When questioned, he simply smiled and confessed, "I killed six." But if he admitted to six, who killed the other thr...

How the World Will End?

We humans have always been afraid of death, even when we know it is the only truth which is inevitable. We are scared to confront the demons within us, and more afraid of what we will see in our afterlife. Some of us believe that there is no afterlife: heaven or hell, suggesting that heaven and hell are the consequences of one's karma (deeds) and we will have to bear them in this life only.
Throughout history, humans have always wondered about the end of the world. Different religions offer unique perspectives, each telling a story of how everything will come to an end. Some describe a final battle, while others see the world fading away slowly. The idea of the end of the world is not just about destruction; it also symbolizes transformation, judgment, or a new beginning.

Do you believe in rebirth or reincarnation? If yes, then check out our latest blog on: Proof of past lives? These stories will make you think!

Let’s explore the fascinating beliefs of Hinduism, Jainism, Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism about the end of the world.

1. Hinduism – The Cycle of Creation and Destruction

Hinduism believes in a cosmic cycle of creation and destruction. The universe is not eternal; it undergoes endless cycles of birth and rebirth, known as yugas (ages). These cycles repeat over vast periods, known as Maha Yuga, which consist of four main ages:
Satya Yuga (Golden Age) – A time of truth, morality, and righteousness. People are honest, and there is no greed or hatred. Humans live in harmony, and there is peace everywhere.
Treta Yuga – Righteousness begins to decline, and people start developing envy and egos. Wars start to appear, and divisions in society become common.
● Dvapara Yuga – Conflicts arise, and the divine connection weakens. People become more materialistic and selfish. Morality is no longer absolute, and deception spreads.
Kali Yuga (Dark Age) – The current age, marked by corruption, dishonesty, war, and moral decline. Greed and jealousy rule the hearts of people, and violence becomes normal. Currently, we are at the start of Kaliyuga. Where humanity has started to decline, and people have already become monsters.

The End According to Hinduism: The Great Dissolution (Pralaya)

At the end of Kali Yuga, the world will be in the hands of Kali (the devil). Greed, violence, and immorality will rule society. People will be selfish and dishonest. Governments will be corrupt, and the strong will oppress the weak. Natural disasters, wars, and suffering will increase. It is believed that Kalki, the tenth and final avatar of Lord Vishnu, will descend to the earth riding a white horse named Devadatta. He will carry a flaming sword. He will destroy evil forces and cleanse the earth.

Once Kalki’s mission is completed, Lord Shiva will perform the Tandava (the cosmic dance of destruction). The universe will collapse, and everything will return to its original formless state (Pralaya). Fire, floods, and powerful storms will consume the earth. Mountains will crumble, the oceans will dry up, and darkness will spread everywhere. This marks the end of the world as we know it.
However, Hinduism believes in the cyclical nature of time. After a long period of rest, a new world will be created. A fresh start, Satya Yuga will begin, and humanity will start anew in purity and righteousness.

2. Jainism – The Gradual Decline into Darkness

Jainism does not believe in a single, unfortunate end-of-the-world event. Instead, it teaches that time moves in infinite cycles, consisting of two main phases:
Utsarpini (Rising Phase) – A period when humanity progresses, knowledge increases, and people live in harmony. Society flourishes, and people live long, healthy lives.
Avasarpini (Declining Phase) – A period of moral and spiritual decay, leading to ultimate darkness. People become more selfish, and suffering increases. Currently, we are in the Avasarpini phase, where suffering is increasing, and true spiritual wisdom is declining.

The End According to Jainism: A World of Suffering and Darkness

As Avasarpini reaches its lowest point, human life will become miserable. People will become shorter, weaker, and more violent. Natural resources will diminish, and greed will consume society. The sacred teachings of the Tirthankaras (spiritual teachers) will be forgotten, and people will lose their ability to attain salvation (moksha).
There is no belief in a god who will intervene to save humanity. Instead, Jainism believes that suffering will reach an extreme point, after which a new cycle will begin. Civilization will slowly start improving again as the Utsarpini phase begins, leading to another golden age of wisdom and peace.

3. Christianity – The Day of Judgment

Christianity teaches that the world will end on Judgment Day, a time when God will judge all people. This event is described in the Book of Revelation, the last book of the Bible, which provides a vivid and dramatic prediction of the end times.
The End According to Christianity: The Final Battle and the New Earth
The Bible describes terrifying signs leading up to the end of the world:
Wars and conflicts will spread across the earth.
Natural disasters like earthquakes, floods, and the rate of mortality will increase.
False prophets and the Antichrist will deceive people.
A great distress will occur, where the sufferings of the people will increase.

After this period of suffering, Jesus Christ will return in glory, descending from the heavens with his angels. He will defeat the Antichrist and the forces of evil in the final battle, known as Armageddon.

All of you must be aware of the Dark Web, but while diving deep into it, this blog will get you to the most infamous stories from the Dark Web.

Once evil is destroyed, the dead will be reborn, and God will judge each person according to their deeds. The righteous will enter Heaven, a place of eternal peace, while sinners will be sent to Hell, a place of punishment. Finally, God will create a new earth where there will be no suffering, death, or sorrow. This new world will be pure and perfect, filled with love and harmony.

4. Islam – The Day of Qiyamat

Islam believes in Qiyamat (the Day of Judgment), when the world will come to an end. The Quran describes this as a day when mountains will crumble, the seas will boil, the sun will be darkened, and it will rise from the west.

The End According to Islam: The Resurrection and the Final Judgment

Before Qiyamat, there will be signs of corruption and suffering. Dajjal, a false messiah, will appear and mislead people. But then, Prophet Isa (Jesus) will return, defeating Dajjal and restoring faith. A great trumpet will be blown by the angel Israfil, and all living beings will die. The Earth will be shattered, and everything will be destroyed. After a long period, the second trumpet will be blown, and all the dead people will come out from their graves.
Allah will judge each person based on their deeds. The righteous will enter Jannah (Heaven), while the sinful will be punished in Jahannam (Hell). Finally, a new world will be created, free from suffering and evil.

5. Buddhism – The World Fades Away

Buddhism does not believe in a god who ends the world, but it does describe the eventual decay of the universe.

The End According to Buddhism: The Slow Disappearance of Dharma

As time passes, the teachings of the Buddha (Dharma) will decline. People will become more greedy, selfish, and violent. Eventually, Buddhism will be forgotten, and Society will move towards anarchy and lawlessness.
However, after a long period of darkness, a new Buddha, Maitreya, will be born. He will teach the lost wisdom again, and a new age of peace will begin.

Conclusion: Different Paths, One Truth

Each religion has its unique vision of how the world will end. Some describe dramatic battles and divine judgment, while others believe in slow decay and rebirth. Yet, despite their differences, all these beliefs teach an important lesson: everything is temporary, and we must strive to live a righteous life while we can.
Whether the end comes through fire, darkness, or renewal, one thing is clear—our actions today shape the future, both in this life and beyond.

Is Squid Game Based on a Real Story?

Red Light, Green Light...Red Light, Green Light....! Sounded fun when we all were kids, right? This was one of my favourite games when I was 6. But after seeing people play it on the Netflix show, Squid Game, it turned into a nightmare for me. When Squid Game premiered on Netflix in 2021, it was much more than any other series. It was a cultural touchstone that drew millions of viewers. It offered a deep and thought-provoking look at some of society's biggest issues. It did not only entertain but also forced the world to consider the issues of economic inequality, human desperation, and moral decay. An easy premise but haunting: 456 gamblers, all drowning in debt, find themselves pulled into a game of survival through childhood games where losing proves lethal.  Squid Game grabs attention with shocking visuals and an intense plot, but it stands out for its deeper messages. It highlights society's struggles, the burden of history, and human resilience. These themes set it apart ...
